Disclaimer: these straps were sent to me for free, but this was done without any restrictions.
Artem sent me a pair of straps (20mm and 22mm) to review a while ago (https://youtu.be/N3b20Q0_Kgw) and those two straps have been a vital part of my watch rotation for the past 1.5 years. I’m not big on leather straps, and tend to prefer rubber and textile instead. I just find them easier to maintain and they last much longer. So these straps fit perfectly within that ethos, and I’ve been through tons of watches and these straps looked great on all of them.
I reached out to Artem to purchase another 21mm sailcloth strap for my Grand Seiko, and they sent me one of their new designs to check out, with the new deployant clasp.
I didn’t have any issues with the standard clasp, but having a deployant always adds to the feeling of security. The strap is exceptional as usual, and the clasp works great and feels very secure. The thing I like about the clasp and straps are that they don’t seem to age quickly at all.
I’ve worn the 20mm strap shown here at least 2-3 times a week for over 16 months and it doesn’t seem to show at all. While this is a “sponsored article”, since they sent these straps to me for free, I was not paid or required to create this article. I’m just a genuine fan of their work now, and I’ll continue to be a supporter of their products as long as they keeping making them!
